New Film!
22:14 18-October-2011
Another one of those “can’t say too much about anything or they’ll put my head on a spike” updates, but suffice to say I’m continuing on at Iloura and am REALLY excited to be working on a film that I think is going to make a large portion of its audience pee their pants laughing.
Yes, a comedy. With VFX.
It’s written and directed by a very special and popular fellow indeed and working on it is going to be slow torture as I just want to watch the film already!
I’ll post more as I’m allowed to, but for now...
Tartare.
(sorry)

Back to the Drama
11:18 01-December-2010
I’m currently editing a film shot in Toronto, the script of which has been finalist at screenwriting festivals in both New York and London.
Of course, I can’t say too much about it yet, but I’m very excited to be working on drama again.

The Return of the Crimson Bull
07:50 04-November-2010
Work on the second season of Red Bull’s TOPS begins tomorrow, for me anyway.
I’m continuing my role from the first season, contributing the motion graphics and animation of the show’s ‘statistic breakdown’ sections.
Red Bull TOPS is produced by UMTV, London.

iiNet discovers time-travel!
19:35 26-October-2010
Well, not quite, but almost...
iiNet’s latest campaign by Meerkats sees the Mother-fappable Finn narrate us through the evolution of television over the last 60 years. It all takes less than 15 seconds of course.
On this job I worked in conjunction with Nick Kempt at Zac Creative to concept our approach and then did the compositing and projection mapping of the first 8 seconds or so. Tey Vandenberg took it from there with some awesome television-to-television animated morphs. Due to the turnaround and client involvement needed with the back end of the TVC, Double G (Perth) designed and animated that section.
Honda's dream within a dream within a car
17:07 12-October-2010
Just finished a nice little compositing job with the crew from ABT Melbourne for HONDA called The Power of Dreams.
ABT were a really great company to work with and have some very creative talent on staff.
(Dan, Yuttana... I’m talking about you!)
The job was for a video to be played at Honda’s 2010 Dealership Convention and featured several fully 3D worlds modelled in C4D by Sydney resident and super nice guy, Aaron White. These worlds were then further enhanced with particle sims and additional elements by myself and Tey Vandenberg with all compositing done in After Effects.
Fun times!
